Public bug reported: I have a large number of image builds based on xenial that automatically install linux-image-extra-$(uname -r) to ensure aufs is available.
The recent fix to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux- aws/+bug/1672464 ensures aufs is available, but it breaks a lot of automation. Is it possible for linux-aws to Provide linux-image-extra-$(uname -r) to prevent breaking existing automation?
