  "port does not support device sleep" on Dell Precision 5520

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  I'm seeing messages like below on Dell Precision 5520, which is on an
  Ubuntu certified hardware list:

  https://certification.ubuntu.com/hardware/201610-25144/

  BIOS is updated to the latest version available: 1.1.3

  The system has this SATA controller:

  00:17.0 SATA controller: Intel Corporation Sunrise Point-H SATA
  controller [AHCI mode] (rev 31)

  And this 256 GB SSD disk:

          Model Number:       SanDisk X400 2.5 7MM 256GB
          Firmware Revision:  X4130012

  There is a firmware upgrade available for SSD storage on Dell website,
  but unfortunately, the installer is Windows only (a weird thing for a
  Ubuntu certified hardware IMO) - therefore, I was no able to apply it.
