Title:
No ethernet connection (usbnet) since update to Ubuntu 13.10 saucy

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Since the update to Ubuntu 13.10 (saucy) I cannot connect to the
internet with my DELOCK Usb Ethernet adapter. The Networkmanager tries
to connect and fails. There is no specific error message in the lock.

It seem to be related to the kernel-modules (usbnet, mcs7830, ...?).
If I boot with kernel 3.8.0-31-generic everything works as expected.
But with kernel 3.11.0-12-generic there is no internet-connection
  possible via USB-Ethernet.
