Dell laptop crashes when sleeping after removing from docking station

Bug description:
If I remove my laptop from the docking station, and then close the lid
(which brings the computer to sleeping mode - "mise en veille" in
French- meaning it turns off the screen), the computer freezes, stay
black and the only thing I can do is to hardware reboot.
