Title:
Ubuntu just stops booting with recent kernels
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I happened after kernel 4.10.0-19 or 4.10.0-20
With 4.10.0-19 it boots perfectly always. With older (and 4.10.0-21) it is
booting... and just stops doing that. Nothing, no errors, no nothing. It leaves
the screen the way it was(it may be some booting logs, or just black screen).
But. If you load system with 4.10.0-19, than right after that you will
probably be able to do that with 4.10.0-21 too, but only 1 time.
At this point I think that xanmod kernel has similar problems.
Maybe the problem is because i have patch every kernel with
https://github.com/neurobin/MT7630E/
in order to make wifi+bluetooth work.
