Bug description:
Using Ubuntu Gnome 17.04.
What I expected: When booting with kernel 4.10.0-21 I should see the
GDM login page.
What actually happens: When booting ubuntu gnome with kernel
4.10.0-21, GDM doesn't start (or crashes) and I am stuck on a black
screen or (if booting in verbose mode) the usual boot text (no
particular error displayed). I can boot using kernel 4.10.0-20 with no
problem.
I have reproduced this issue on two computers, both with Nvidia
graphics cards and nvidia proprietary graphics driver.
