Title: power8 kernel panic Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in linux-lts-vivid package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I ran into this bug while trying to deploy a power8 (powerVM) LPAR via MAAS. I was using Trusty with hwe-v kernel. Most of the time, using the same images, I never have issues but I have seen this panic happen randomly.
