Another WORKAROUND I made into bios was to switch from AUTO to S3 only
(I missed to mention it). However it appears impossible that this is the
problem which causes the issue although after the rest of the cmos I get
it again because and AUTO option was the only option I had not changed
after the reset. Is it possible that kernel or PLASMA generate
incompatibility problem if suspend mode is set to AUTO? (I've changed
the DDR3) but it seems the problem doesn't concern the DDR3 module
typology.

Title:
  system randomly hangs itself

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  this problem affect my system on Kubuntu 17.04 64bit
  Kde Plasma: 5.10.3
  kernel: 4.10.0.26
  Kde frameworks: 5.36.0
  Qt release: 5.7.1
  Probably I've solved with GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash
intel_idle.max_cstate=1"

  Randomly the operating system hangs both eist and or c1e options enabled or
disabled. I hope that Kubuntu has not damaged my hardware. However what kind of
workaround should be made on the klernel to have this problem solved once and
forever?
  My hardware specs:
  maximus eteme;
  latest bios;
  8gb ram 4x2gb corsaire xms 1333;
  gigabyte gt 730 1gb OC
  xonar d2x.
