Title:
MacBookPro11,4 patch no longer needed in 4.12.4+

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  The patch applied in
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1587714 is no
longer needed in artful kernels 4.12.0-11.12 and above, as a fix has
made it in upstream 4.12.4+ and 4.13rc1+ kernels.

The new fix is in arch/x86/pci/fixup.c, while the applied patch was in
drivers/pci/quirks.c, so the conflict between the two may not be
  apparent using automatic merge tools.
