Looks like this was a result of the nvidia-384 dkms driver not working
well with the 4.13.0-30.33 kernel in -proposed. Once we removed this
driver, the kernel was able to boot properly with fully functional
keyboard/touchpad and wifi.

Adding an nvidia-graphics-drivers-384 task to this bug.

** Also affects: nvidia-graphics-drivers-384 (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided
       Status: New

** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
       Status: Confirmed => Invalid

Title:
Boot failure with 4.13.0-30.33 in artful-proposed

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid
Status in nvidia-graphics-drivers-384 package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Had to reboot back into previous known working kernel 4.13.0-21.24.
As a note, booting into 4.13.0-25.29 resulted in a broken
keyboard/touchpad and wifi not working. Rebooting into the even newer
4.13.0-30.33 then results in a complete failure to boot. Logs
attached here are from the known "good" kernel.
