It's been a while. And Jeppe has already said that 4.13.12 fixes the
issue. Both here and in bug 1718654. Maybe assume Fix Released.

Bug description:
  After upgrading from Ubuntu Gnome 17.04 to Ubuntu 17.10, the trackpad
  stops working after suspend (it actually works for a few seconds, then
  doesn't react). I can still use the touch screen.

  Please tell me which log-files to upload.
