The issue happened after upgrading from Ubuntu 7.10 to development
version Bioninc Beaver. On Ubuntu 7.10 the module works as expected with
distribution default kernel Linux 4.13.
I've updated to kernel v4.16-rc4 an the problem persists.

Module nouveou can't be loaded. I get the following error message when
I try to load it manually:
