Christopher M. Penalver, I can't see how I can do that without getting
rid of my currently stable system?

Sorry for not replying sooner, but it actually started to work, and for
week or so I had no problems with waking system up from suspension.

Title:
notwork-manager doesn't get up after suspending whole system

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I recently upgraded from 13.04 to 13.10, and got this problem last two times
I brought my laptop up from suspend, the network manager applet shows networks
turned off, and connection being offline. With no apparent means to turn it
back on.
I can click on the option Network, but that does nothing.

  I use Ubuntu 13.10 64bit on a 5 year old Samsung R510 laptop.
