This has been fixed with HWE userland tools, I added some compat fixes so that HWE userland tools will work with ZFS 0.7.0 kernel drivers.
See bug 1737761 ** Changed in: zfs-linux (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Released ** Changed in: zfs-linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: zfs-linux (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Colin Ian King (colin-king) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to zfs-linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1706891 Title: ZFS 0.7.0 will require new userland tools Status in zfs-linux package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: ZFS 0.7.0 has been released: http://list.zfsonlinux.org/pipermail/zfs- announce/2017-July/000015.html. It is important to note it will require an update of the userland tools (zpool command). This can be an issue especially for the HWE kernel stack if ZFS module versions would bump to 0.7.0 without an update of the zfsutils and zfs-initramfs packages.
