v4.16 kernel[0].

  Ethernet Cable Unplugged/Connecting on Lenovo Thinkpad T430

Bug description:
  After the kernel update, Ethernet is not working on  Lenovo Thinkpad
  T430. Looping on Unplugged/connecting as if cable fault. Tested cables
  and switch. Reverting back to Kernel 4.13.0-37-generic solves the
  problem completely.
