Title:
Ubuntu 16.04 wireless networking does not allow WD MyCloud access

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Fresh install of Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit with all updates applied.
Hardware: Acer Aspire One 722 with 8ig of RAM and 500Gig SSD. Dual
core AMD C60 not that it matters.

Wireless: Boot, open Files from task bar, click network, I can see
WDMYCLOUD. Click it, enter connection user/password and many seconds
later the "opening" dialog pops up. Eventually, many minutes later,
error dialog pops up saying unable to connect.

Wired: Boot, open Files from task bar, click network, I can see
WDMYCLOUD. Click it, enter connection user/password and 1-2 seconds
later "opening" dialog pops up. Another second or two and I see the
  contents of the drive.

Only change is from wireless to wired. Using same router.
