I reinstalled Bionic to a fresh/clean state (for unrelated reasons) and
can't reproduce the freezing with the current kernel. A bit mysterious.

Title:
Dell XPS 9370 freezes at login screen/shortly after login with kernels
after 4.15.0-13
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Ubuntu freezes at the login screen or, if one is quick enough, shortly after
typing a few chars of the password.
Sometimes nothing except the power button works, at times I could reboot via
endless massaging of sysrq + b.
Last good kernel: 4.15.0-13
Mainline 4.16.3 is also affected.
Mainline 4.17rc1 is good again.
