Ok, I originally posted on
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1731784

1731784 has been marked as duplicate as this one after I did an
"upstream" report (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106422)
and Intel engineers investigated to attach it to a "TV-Out" issue with
this proposed workaround by the time they (unlikely) find the bug.

I can do a new ticket -when I'll have access to the hardware- if this
helps tracking, although that would be another duplicate (or do we say
"triplicate" in this case!)

For the record, the ticket for upstream was done with the drm-debug
kernel that I compiled especially to have more messages dumped in dmesg
and help Intel engineers.

Do you need the "ubuntu-bug linux" with the kernel I compiled especially
(4.17) or shall I issue the command on the stock Ubuntu kernel for 18.04
(4.15)?
