Apport crashing on resume...

Bug description:
When I attempt to "wake" / "resume" my laptop, I get a black screen
instead of the login screen. I'm forced to do a hard reboot to get
back into the system.
When I reboot the system, it tells me there was an issue and give the
following:
/usr/share/apport/apportcheckresume

The issue only occurs when I allow the unit to sleep.
