Lenovo Yoga 720 does not shutdown with wifi enabled

Bug description:
Whenever I try to shutdown or reboot the system while the internal
wifi card is enabled, the systems hangs (system does not switch to
command line mode, only possible to reboot using Syrq-Key+B, even
Sysrq+O does not work). When I disable the wifi card using network
manager before shutting down it works fine. The system runs in UEFI
mode.
