Title:
Display refresh rate is not stored

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
After upgrade from 16.04 to 18.04, I cannot store the manual refresh rate any
longer.
When I go to the display settings, advanced, and store e.g. 25,00 Hz,
'Apply', go elsewhere and back to advanced display settings, it has fallen back
to 'Auto'.
i tried a number of times, including reboots, but it used to come back as
'Auto'.
