This issue is already fixed in the Cosmic kernel (which means that "D" is also fixed). The Bionic kernel needs these patches:
db7ddef301128dad394f1c0f77027f86ee9a4edb ("mm: move tlb_table_flush to tlb_flush_mmu_free") a6f572084fbee8b30f91465f4a085d7a90901c57 ("mm/tlb: Remove tlb_remove_table() non-concurrent condition") d86564a2f085b79ec046a5cba90188e612352806 ("mm/tlb, x86/mm: Support invalidating TLB caches for RCU_TABLE_FREE") Older releases are not affected. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1798897 Title: Linux: insufficient shootdown for paging-structure caches Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in linux source package in Bionic: In Progress Status in linux source package in Cosmic: Fix Released Status in linux source package in DD-Series: Fix Released Bug description: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/project-zero/issues/detail?id=1633 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1798897/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
