I've recently run the last set of updates (on 4th July 2018) and now when I boot up, I get a blank screen where the login screen should be. If I press the power button, the system shuts down cleanly. I can rectify the issue if I boot selecting the previous kernel from grub which is 4.15.0-23-generic.
