Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I have an HP laptop in a docking station.
It has been working fine for months, but now it crashes and I have to hold
the power button to restart. Black screen.

The PC is docked, lid closed. I turn it on, login and the two external
monitors go black.
Restart PC but holding power button. (Undocking / Opening the lid does
nothing)
Example 2:
The PC is docked, lid open. I turn it on and login.
When the desktop is loaded, I close the lid. The two external monitors go
black.
