Hello and hello, many thanks for the bug fix. After installing kernel 4.19.19, the hotkey LED [f5] and [f8] will now work. I've just upgraded to kernel 4.19.24 and that's what the LEDs work with. :)

Presumably, the failure results from a different ubuntu-version and/or a another kernel.
