Public bug reported:

The ubuntu_ftrace_smoke_test is failing on Trusty ARM64.

It looks like it will need the following configs for get it work:
CONFIG_FUNCTION_TRACER=y
CONFIG_FUNCTION_GRAPH_TRACER=y
CONFIG_STACK_TRACER=y
CONFIG_DYNAMIC_FTRACE=y

ftrace is useful for debugging. We should enable it.
