Hi, I had similar Problems with my Marvell 88EE9230. I was able to improve the situation quite a lot by updating the firmware of the controller itself. In General all firmware versions beyond version 2.3.xxx improved the situation quite a lot. The remaining problem is, that I get failures on ata6 which is the only port which is not connected to any drive at all. Any drive connected to the marvell controller itself is perfectly stable (24/7 for +400 days).
