Title:
[IOMMU] IOMMU scalable mode for mdev pass-through
Status in intel:
Fix Committed
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Description:
Intel IOMMU scalable mode is proposed in the new IOMMU spec. It provides two
level address translation based on a PASID. With this translation mode, a
PASID-capable PCIe device could pass through partial of its resource (also
called AI, Assignment Instance) to the guest VM with fully IOMMU protection and
isolation. It’s the key for a platform in order to support SIOV.
