Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Well... I made update (about 180 MB) and my laptop (Asus X55U with UEFI) crashed. During update I saw in details window "killed" and everything hung. After that laptop went into text mode and showed "kernel panic". Moreover after power restart Ubuntu 13.10 (x86_64) loaded OK but when I run "Software Update" it hungs on "shim-signed". I had to install system again. By the way: I saw I had 5 partitions (2 x free space, fat32, ext4 system, and swap). No comments. WELL DONE !!!
