Public bug reported:
Upon login to my computer I receive a notification there is new
firmware.
Upon arriving at the Settings > Devices > Firmware page I am told that:
"Dell Precision M5520 Thunderbolt Controller 26.01" has a new update.
Expanding the details the changelog reports the version of the update as
"21.00".
As one might expect from that point, I cannot do anything (there is
nothing to install, the firmware is very obviously 5+ versions behind
what is currently installed).
What should happen:
I shouldn't be notified about firmware if there is nothing for me to do.
** Affects: linux-firmware (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
** Attachment added: "lsb-release et al."
