Title:
RTL8192se does not see any Access Points

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
I formatted my HD and installed Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 32bit on my Toshiba
Satellite A505-6004 then installed the proposed kernel (2.6.32-22
-generic-pae) that was thought to resolve the issue with the RTL8192se
  wi/fi not working.

I dual boot and the wi/fi works fine in Windows 7
Oddly enough the only time I was ever able to get the wi/fi to work in Linux
was using the Live CD version of Linux Mint 8. After installing Linux Mint 8 to
the HD the wi/fi would not see any networks.

Realtek sent be version 16 of the linux driver which is not on their
site, but that still does not work.
