Caps lock "led" doesn't work indicating keyboard isn't working. Just a white cursor (non blinking) on screen, CPU doesn't seem to do anything since fan stops after a while. This is more likely a Linux "bug". Unless you pass acpi_osi= argument to Linux kernel, it won't boot, appear and behave frozen with a (non blinking) cursor on top left. There is no further information given to user further complicating things. Previously on 4.x kernels, system would boot using acpi=off argument creating more problems on this particular laptop model (HP Pavilion X360 13 inch).
