Title:
wl wifi module causes hang on resume from hibernation

Status in linux-restricted-modules package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.27-9-generic

My system is Dell Inspiron 6400 with Broadcom 3411 Dell Wireless on
board with Ubuntu Desktop 8.10 Intrepid Ibex installed. After
installing the latest jockey update resolving b44/ssb/wl loading order
issue I've got wl working. Unfortunately resuming from hibernation
with wl loaded causes 100% hang now right before X server
initialization. I.e. reading resume image from disk goes fine but
right after that all freezes deadly. Neither mouse nor keyboard are
operational. Removing wl module (disabling it in jockey hardware
drivers util) restores normal hibernation/resume. Older wl module
  (from linux-restricted-modules-2.6.27-7-generic) is affected too.
