Title:
[non-free nvidia driver] System fails to suspend
Status in linux-restricted-modules package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
This does not seem to be exactly the same as in other bug-reports, but
you will see (by the way i'm new to these reports, so be patient).
Since hardy on suspending the system this does not shut off
completely:
- Power supply is still turned on
- Screen 0 shows a blinking bar
- Screens won't turn off
Finally I have to shut down the systems by pressing the power-button
more than 4 secs.
This happens with both, the free and the non-free NVidia driver
installed.
ProblemType: KernelOops

resuming properly.
