Title:
Music Player Daemon (mpd) does not start at bootup in 9.10

Status in linux-restricted-modules package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
After upgrading to Karmic (9.10), mpd does not start at bootup
anymore, I have to run command 'sudo /etc/init.d/mpd start' every time
when I want to play music with mpd.

I check in Boot-Up manager, the mpd is activated but not running at
bootup, I search on the internet and post lots of threads to ask for
help, but I find no ways to make it running at bootup.

Karmic disables some services (daemon) to reduce the boot time but in
the mean time it also reduces the usability.
