Title:
linux-restricted-modules-2.6.28-14-generic -- missing or corrupt
Status in linux-restricted-modules package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
Binary package hint: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.28-14-generic
Appears the -modules-2.6.28-14-generic is missing or corrupt. This is
off a fresh format/install 4 different times, with both x86 and amd64
releases. Each one has correct md5sum, verified burning at 2x, as
well as no errors in cd-self checker, or during the install. The
final outcome of this bug is Broken software index. Due to the fact
this is a fresh install, I'm running bare bones here, and any attempts
to update or install new software fails.
