Title:
zpool missing after reboot
Status in zfs-linux package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I have installed Ubuntu 20.04 with the new ZFS root partition. This
worked fine.
However I then created a new volume / pool :
zpool create data /dev/sdb
Then I mounted it into my home.
zfs set mountpoint=/home/peter/data data
This worked fine, however after reboot the mount is not longer
working.
The issue seems to be on the zpool level though. Since the mount
starts working right after I do
zpool import data
Not sure if I am doing something wrong, I have worked on Solaris for
many years and thats how you mount stuff. Maybe something different on
Ubuntu? Let me know if there are any log files to collect.
I did find this in a log search though.
syslog:Mar 8 10:20:36 smchome zpool[2656]: no pools available to
import
