Should be a duplicate of bug 1865962, which was currently only fixed in
5.4.0-18 or newer in Focal. Is it possible for you to try Focal kernel?

  $ echo deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ focal | \
      sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/focal.list
  $ sudo apt update && sudo apt install
linux-modules-extra-5.4.0-21-generic/focal

Title:
  Ubuntu 18.04: Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9560 [8086:02f0] subsystem
  [8086:0034] Wifi adapter not detected after kernel update

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  "lsb_release -rd" output:
    Description: Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS
    Release: 18.04

  So, my linux kernel was updated to 5.3.0-40 today, and my wifi adapter is no
longer functional. When I run "lshw", the usb-1 device is detected, but is
"UNCLAIMED".
  Booting with the previous kernel works, so I figured it's a kernel problem.
