Bug description:
It seems that after upgrading to 8.04 smartctl short test seems to
hang at 90% (ie it never finishes).
The following test hangs at 90%:
sudo smartctl -t short /dev/sda
Output from smartcrl -a /dev/sda
Self-test execution status: ( 249) Self-test routine in progress...
90% of test remaining.
