** Attachment added: "lspci-vnvn.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1893152/+attachment/5405000/+files/lspci-vnvn.log
** Description changed: Random freeze on laptop machine, when trying to sleep (normal power- save/timed sleep mechanism). The machine would not respond to anything - except a hard press of the power button. The attached kernel oops log - output was recorded in the logs at the time of the attempted sleep, - indicating a kernel oops. There are a lot of Nvidia references, so not - sure if it's the Nvidia driver, kernel or both. This is Ubunty 20.04.1 - with the latest kernel 5(Ubuntu 5.4.0-42.46-generic 5.4.44 )and Nvidia - river 440.100 + except a hard press of the power button.
