Title:
[20.10 FEAT] kvm_stat Sampling and Logging

Status in Ubuntu on IBM z Systems:
  Fix Released
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Currently, kvm_stat has a fixed sampling interval of 3 seconds. It
would be advantageous to allow to modify this interval with a command
line parameter. Further, a daemon mode for continuous monitoring can
be useful. For this purpose, a systemd unit has to be written, which
starts kvm_stat and redirects the program's output to a log file. Also
a sample logrotate configuration should be part of the deliverable.

Finally, to save disk space in daemon/logging mode, empty samples should be
suppressed (e.g. if no guests are running).
Business Value: Improved RAS capabilities for both test/development and
production environments.

  Available with kernel 5.7
