This computer currently has Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and Ubuntu 18.04.05 LTS (18.04) on it. What would you like to do?
I did not know about the 18.04.05. !?!?!?!?!? My second disk is partitioned as Free Space 2.1MB, UEFI System Partition 589MB FAT, Ubuntu 451GB Ext4, Swap 8.4GB Ext4, and 3.5TB NTFS with all my data. My first disk is partitioned as 1.0MB sacrificed to Bill Gates, UEFI system Partition 273MB FAT, Linux 2.0TB Ext4, Swap 8.6GB Swap I also have a 4TB and an 8TB USB3 external drives plugged in. Also the Control Center is missing network (only has advanced network which is useless.) Also code allows only one file attached. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot at 2020-10-11 18-07-06.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1899366/+attachment/5421014/+files/Screenshot%20at%202020-10-11%2018-07-06.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1899366 Title: Ubuntu MATE 10.04 released prematurely Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: The first time I tried to install 20.04 I noticed that the option to update as installed was disabled. However since the ubuntu coders do NOT BELIEVE in separating code and data, I stopped the installation and made a backup of /home/robert. (I never place data here but Ubuntu does.) The second time I tried to install 20.04 I again noticed that the update option was still disabled. I went the the Try 20.04 and noticed the network indicator was missing. Unlike its predecessors (13.04-19.10) 20.04 was not able to recognize my WiFi hardware. Luckily I had WiFi hardware from another computer with a mini-CD containing drivers. The third time I tried to install 20.04 I did the Try first to make sure the display resolution was correct and that the WiFi was working. Then I got the error message: ubi-partman failed with exitcode 141. Further information may be found in /var/log/syslog. Do you want to try running this setup again before continuing? If you do not, your installation may fail entirely or may be broken.
