Public bug reported:

I am using Ubuntu 20.04 (dual boot with windows 10) on Dell vostro 7500,
the whole system crashes randomly, the symptom is the whole screen
frozen, the time on the screen is stuck, mouse cannot move, keyboard
input is invalid. I think it is a kernel crash because sysrq does not
work, which works in normal time, and /var/log/syslog contains no lines
after the crash.

I tried reinstalling the os and switching my kernel version from
5.4.0-58-generic to 5.4.0-42-generic, but the problem persists. The
frequency of crashing is one time per week before reinstalling and one
time per day after reinstalling.

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1798961 described
the same problems as me but it is about 18.10 and is closed.
