Title:
snd_fireworks module fails to load
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
dmesg contains these two lines:
[ 8.593334] snd_fireworks fw1.0: EFW transaction timed out
[ 8.594276] snd_fireworks fw1.0: Sound card registration failed: -5
And ALSA therefore does not see my echo audiofire 12.
The device continues to work fine as a backend for jackdbus2 using the
FFADO kernel modules. The snd_fireworks did work fine with this device
in ubuntustudio 20.04 but also fails in ubuntustudio 20.10 (which I
don't use)
