Title:
autoamtically suspend right after login - when booted with Thinkpad
  lid closed

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Reproduce:

  0. Make sure the laptop is being charged by an external power.

  1. Boot with the lid closed (e.g. by starting reboot and close the
  lid).

  2. When login screen presents, then login with password

3a. Ubuntu 20.10 goes to sleep. Hit a key to wake it. dmesg attached
  at the end.

3b. Ubuntu 20.04 sometimes go to sleep (10%).

The following dmesg is collected from Ubuntu 20.10 where this can be reliably
reproduced. However since I can't solve this I had to
downgrade to Ubuntu 20.04 where the attached debug info (produced
  by `ubuntu-bug linux`) is collected.

  Notes:

  - The "Energy" setting in gnome-control-center is set to suspend only
in battery mode, but the bug is reproduced with external power.
