All calls to adb (e.g. adb devices, adb kill-server) just hang and they don't respond to Ctrl+C etc. The adb application is listed in ps output as defunct: myuser 8405 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Zl 19:14 0:00 [adb] <defunct> Cannot kill adb or restart it. It did not happen before 11.10 and still happens on current 12.04. I assume it's not related to adb version because it does not happen with the same binaries (I share the directory) on Fedora 16. I cannot mount the phone as USB mass storage as well. Please examine the attached dmesg output for the 'task blocked' messages. I have to reboot my PC to make the phone accessible from the PC again.
