The steps after this would require a little more expertise. They would involve bisecting the kernel history which is probably too complicated. Maybe the kernel team have some ideas for simpler suggestions than that, but otherwise I am out of ideas. You should probably just stick to a kernel version that works for you.

To log in, I need to delete all nvidia files. After that, the xorg is selected and I can log in. But I cannot edit brightness. I can hardly see anything on the screen.
