Title:
Intel I225-IT Ethernet controller is not working during driver probe
  function

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
After installing Ubuntu 20.04.3 (Kernel 5.11.0-38-generic) on PXIe controller
with I225-IT Ethernet Controller, running dmesg message output the following
error thrown by igc driver module:
[ 0.882371] igc: probe of 0000:6d:00.0 failed with error -2
[ 0.914344] igc: probe of 0000:6e:00.0 failed with error -2

After sending inquiry to Intel, they stated that while kernel 5.15 is the
official kernel containing igc driver module to support I225-IT Ethernet
Controller, for any official Linux kernel between 5.8 to 5.14, manually adding
these 2 patches will address the bug.

https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit/?id=47bca7de6a4fb8dcb564c7ca14d885c91ed19e03

I would like to request for backporting these 2 patches into the
official Ubuntu 20.04.3 (and later) kernel.
