I installed the Linux Kernel version today (5 Jan 2022) 5.13.0-23 and my
laptop slowed on boot time A LOT and after login it takes A VERY LONG
TIME. Apps take a long time to open including snap apps.
I switched back to 5.13.0-22-generic everything works like a charm.
Please register this bug for Linus Torvald or its support page to fix
this.
