This issue has sat incomplete for over five years now but was fixed in
the Xenial release so it is being closed as "Invalid".

Bug description:
Hi there, the system does not boot and goes into initransf black screen
I am not an experienced user and I just deleted the 4.4.0-39-generic and use
the 4.4.0-38-generic that seem to work very good apart two small issues.
The touch screen does not work after a sleep and to make it to work I have
to close the lid and open the lid again and it work!
The sound jack does not give output
